About the Doctor

Dr. Kirk was born and raised in the Bay Area. After obtaining a Bachelors degree in Zoology and a Master of Science degree in Human Physiology, he attended the University of California at San Francisco where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Kirk was then accepted into the prestigious Orthodontic Residency Program at UCSF where he completed a second Master’s degree in Oral Biology. At the completion of his residency he was presented with the Award of Special Merit by the American Association of Orthodontists. This honor was one of only two awards given throughout the entire United States to graduating residents for outstanding contribution to the field of orthodontics.

Dr. Kirk and his family have lived in Petaluma since 1996. He supports the local community by sponsoring athletic teams, giving orthodontic presentations at schools, and donating to charities and fundraisers. When not creating stunning smiles, Dr. Kirk loves to spend time with his wife and two children, play basketball, and dodge potholes on his road bike.
